It’s Here, It’s Here…..!!!!!

You may have also noticed that my blog is sadly short on samples and cute stuff that I have stamped and want to share with you. That is because I really need to get off my butt and take some pictures and edit them and then POST them on this blog that I promised myself I would always keep up to date. I am a blogging failure……but I PROMISE to start making this blog worth the money and your time and actually post something once in a while! I think this new catalogue is a good place to start, don’t you?? I will create something magnificent and post it shortly….I promise.

Stampin’ Up! Announces New Color Families!!

Well, they’ve finally done it…they have finally changed their color families! Now don’t get me wrong, there are some colors that I will miss terribly…some that I feel I have only just begun to really know…some that I’ve become very good friends with. These colors I will mourn the loss of .

Then there are the other colors. The colors that are so uninteresting that they have faded into the woodwork of my ink pad holder..never used in the seven years I have been a demonstrator. These colors deserve to go. They are uninteresting…uninspired and frankly, just didn’t get along with my other stamp pads. Good-bye forever blah colors!!

DSP Class – The Write Stuff Specialty

Time again for my monthly designer paper class! This class will be held on Friday, April 16th at 7:00pm. The cost is $25.00 and includes a package of this very cool designer paper and five different card designs. Normally you would get to take your unopened package of paper home with you, but for this class you will need to use your package of paper as there are quite a few elements that you will need to use that I unfortunately cannot provide enough of out of my package of paper. Here is the AWESOMELY CUTE paper this month…..

DSP Class – Bella Bleu

Time again for my monthly Designer Paper class! The class will be held on Friday, February 19th from 7-9pm. This month we will be using the soft and stunning Bella Bleu paper from Stampin’ Up!

As usual, this class will include your very own package of this paper, to take home with you as well as five different cards made using this paper…all for only $25! DSP Class – Sending Love Specialty Paper

Join me on Friday, January 29th from 7-9pm to create 5 cards using the NEW Sending Love Specialty Paper from the Occasions Mini. You can find this paper on page 13 of the mini on the right side of the blog. Just click on the mini and you can check it out!

The class is $30 and includes 5 cards and a package of this yummy new paper. This paper makes me think of chocolate….I don’t know why. Maybe because chocolate has been a staple of my diet the past couple of weeks (hey…someone has to finish off all the chocolates we were given this holiday season )! Anyway, the paper is beautiful…and yummy…and choclately….

Christmas Card Workshops!

Unfortunately, I’m now working part time and the hours are really interferring with my Stampin’ Up! business LOL!! For this reason, you will see a change this year with how I am offering my Christmas card workshops. This is a tradition I really did not want to give up on so I sincerely hope that this new format will work for you all!

So, to begin…here are the dates for the workshops and then I will explain how it will work.

Dates: Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st AND/OR Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28th

Time: 6-9pm

Where: My place @ 256 Cove Drive Chestermere

RSVP: For all dates by November 1st

Each class will include 10 Christmas cards with envelopes. You will make 2 each of 5 different designs. If you sign up for more than one class you will have different designs each night. There will also be snacks provided as well as some door prizes! Christmas music will be playing in the background and I promise not to sing along! Your options are as follows:

Take (2) classes…any combination of dates = $80 (includes 20 cards and a $25 catalogue credit)

Take (1) class…any date and the cost = $35 (includes 10 cards)

If you would like to take more than (2) classes, please email me and we’ll work out a price for you.

October 18th DSP Class – Night and Day Specialty Paper

This next Designer Paper class is going to be a beautiful one!! The NIGHT AND DAY specialty paper from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday mini is to die for!! For only $30 you will create 5 cards and also leave with a full package of this stunning paper. The class is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th from 6:30-9:00pm. RSVP by October 9th to attend. If you can’t make the class but would still like the package, simply pick the "Class by Mail" option and you will receive everything you need to create these five gorgeous cards, plus the package of paper.

Cool Kids Simply Scrappin’ File

I know, I know….I’m late. Story of my life. This file was supposed to be ready and posted on September 15th, but LIFE got in the way…know what I mean??? Anyway, the September PDF file is for the COOL KIDS simply scrappin’ kit.

Back to School!

While I have to say that this summer went by INCREDIBLY fast, I also must confess that I’m soooo happy that the kids are back to school! Not just for my sanity, but also for theirs. How kids can possibly say "I’m bored" nearly every day for 2 months is beyond me…especially with the summer camps, friends sleeping over, vacations, etc. etc. They really don’t understand how good they have it! When I was their age (here I go…sounding like my mother…) I was lucky to be let back in the house by 5:00pm everyday. I had to entertain myself (gasp!) for days on end!

Anyway…they are back in school and I just thought I’d share my photos of them on the first day.
