I know October sounds like a long ways off, but it will be here before we know it! Planning for our October retreat is well underway and we really hope you can join us! Here are the details:

When: Friday, October 23rd-Sunday, October 25th. Feel free to arrive anytime after 3pm on Friday and stay until 3pm on Sunday!

Where: Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino in beautiful Kananaskis

Cost:  $250 per person based on double occupancy and includes:

• snacks on Friday and Saturday evening
• breakfast buffet Saturday morning
• dinner buffet Saturday evening
• brunch buffet Sunday morning
• goody bags
• make ‘n takes
• door prizes
• plenty of scrapbooking space – 2 people per 8 ft table

We will also be offering classes throughout the day on Saturday. So far these include:

• Monday Night Class kit class taught by Christy Riopel
• Introduction to Copic Markers class taught by Shannon Tompkins
• Christmas Card class taught by Debbie Pearce
• Mini Album class taught by Diana Braine

We have 65 spots for this retreat and are already almost half sold out with returning participants. If you would like to book for this retreat a $50 non-refundable deposit must be paid by July 15th to hold your spot. OK, I have a question. How do all of you that have blogs, keep them up to date? You would think that I would have had a couple of free hours in the past six weeks to actually update this blog that I wanted so badly right? Right. It’s not like I don’t have enough self-imposed guilt in my life…but now I have to add not updating my blog regularly to that guilt trip too. Please, tell me…HOW DO YOU DO IT?????

It’s for reasons just like this that I often feel the need to get away…to run away from all of the things I have to do and just pretend that they don’t exist. I know…it’s called "denial"…and I’m very good at it! I just returned from our last scrapbooking and cardmaking retreat out in Canmore this weekend and it was FABULOUS!! The ladies had such a great time and we are soooo looking forward to our next retreat. Here are the details once again:
